Overview of the Staff Disciplinary Process
About the Session
The purpose of this session is to demonstrate how the roles played by the Employee Relations Consultant and managers come together in a partnership throughout the disciplinary process. The goal is to educate both managers and employees on the basics of the staff Disciplinary Process. This education aims to build consistency and efficiency across the University which will lead to fair and appropriate implementation of Disciplinary Action.

Learning Outcomes
In this session participants will learn to: differentiate between staff employee types, identify when situations or concerns may warrant beginning the disciplinary process, provide relevant background information to support taking disciplinary action, and understand the general implementation of the SHRA Disciplinary Action Policy & Disciplinary Process for EPS Employees.
