About the Session

This is a hands on workshop providing student employee supervisors the opportunity to understand the philosophy of creating a holistic learning environment for all student employees by identifying their work responsibilities as career competencies preparing them for their future career goals. This begins by identifying their current job descriptions with these competencies allowing an understanding that the student is evolving and growing throughout their employment in their respective areas.

Learning Outcomes

• Participants will have a better understanding of the NACE Career Competencies and the philosophy behind it.
• Participants (Student Employee Supervisors) will be able to incorporate the NACE competencies into their existing job descriptions.
• Participants (Student Employee Supervisors) will have a better knowledge of handshake and how to upload their revised job descriptions.
