Homecoming 2021: Haunted Homecoming Harvest

It’s that time of the year again!

At Appalachian, we aim to celebrate Homecoming traditions and instill Mountaineer pride in all members of the Appalachian State community through active virtual, remote, AND in-person engagement with students, alumni, faculty, staff, and the local Boone community. Homecoming is an incredibly special tradition that takes place at a beautiful time of the year. It is an opportunity to reflect and appreciate our institution's history and traditions, recognize and celebrate our achievements, reconnect with friends and alumni, and promote Mountaineer spirit.

The 2021 Homecoming theme is "Haunted Homecoming Harvest'' and will focus on autumn and Halloween ideas. Homecoming events are open to all members of our community and we hope that you will join us for the fun!

Homecoming week is October 25-30! The events are as follows:

  • Oct 25 - Homecoming Kick-off & NEERly Naked Mile
  • Oct 26 - Movie on the Mall
  • Oct 27 - Wicked Wednesday
  • Oct 28 - LipSync Competition
  • Oct 29 - Parade, Kazoo Band, Apptoberfest, and NPHC Yard Show
