During the 3rd Annual Student Affairs Conference, there will be an Awards Luncheon to recognize and honor staff and departments who contribute to our Divisional tagline Care.Engage.Transform each day. It is always important to have recognition and awards to acknowledge the great work of our team members in the Division of Student Affairs. Nominating your colleagues provides motivational support and enhances not only their commitment but our commitment to the care, engagement and transformation of our students and staff.

In our Division we recognize staff for their leadership and contributions not only to our Division but to Appalachian State University. As always we need your nominations to help select individuals that are deserving of these awards.

Awards

The Care.Engage.Tranform Award:

This award is intended to recognize the person who lives out our Divisonal tagline of Care.Engage.Tranform.  This person creates a culture of care for our students and transforms them into dynamic leaders who will make a difference in the community. 

The Changemaker Award:

The recipient of this award is always pushing for positive change, whether that’s through programming or for the office/department to function better (i.e., "we need better towels" or "we need more efficient processes/systems in place").

Diversity & Inclusion Award:

This award recognizes an individual or department who has served as a champion for Diversity & Inclusion efforts within Student Affairs.

Behind the Scene Award:

This award recognizes an individual or department who has helped to support the success of Division driven initiatives, programs and or events while quietly working behind the scenes.
