Dear Members of the Appalachian Community:
As we begin the 2017-18 academic year, we are excited to share some important updates about our division and our work.
On August 1, 2017, we changed our name to the Division of Student Affairs. The change to the Division of Student Affairs is an opportunity to match the language used within our profession and to align with the name of other divisions on campus.
With our new division name, we will continue to serve students in new and innovative ways. Our new name reflects our mission and vision, along with our newly developed tagline:
The division will continue to operate in its current structure, and our locations, phone numbers and email addresses remain unchanged.You can now find us online at studentaffairs.appstate.edu.
Please review any publications or website information in your purview that includes references to Student Development and change these to the Division of Student Affairs.
