Staying Fit!
Fitness programs are continuing to provide ways to move our Mountaineer family through online virtual challenges and classes -#KeepYosefMoving. We're hosting 34 virtual classes per week taught by our student instructors across a wide array of formats. From H.I.I.T. at Home with Caroline to Pilates with Joy we're here to serve our community through shared memorable movement experiences. We are predominantly using Instagram's Live feature (as voted on by students), however, due to the recent high utilization some instructors are redirecting participants to their personal accounts and zoom classrooms. Since March 26th we've seen an addition of 400+ new followers, reached 1,739 accounts, and have over 2k profile visits. Find our full schedule here.
Personal Trainers and Fitness Instructors are also busy creating content for our YouTube channel, which was also a request we received from the Mountaineer family and one we see growing with the incoming class of 2020. This project is still in the early stages and any updates will be posted via fitness.appsate.edu.
But that's not all! We've partnered with Les Mills on demand to additionally offer over 100+ scientifically backed workouts taught by professional instructors on your schedule.
