Enterprise Check Presentation

Enterprise holdings has awarded a $3000 grant to the Career Development Center to implement the Career Studio — peer-to-peer Career Advising. Career Studio is offered from 200pm to 4:00pm Monday through Thursday in the Career Development Center Lobby (John E. Thomas Hall, Room 369)
The Career Studio provides a casual and accessible environment for students to talk about, work on, and get help with their career materials and questions from Career Guides. They can get assistance with:

  • Resume Development and Reviews
  • Cover Letter Development and Reviews
  • How to use Handshake and LinkedIn
  • Job Searching Skills and Tips
  • Interview Preparation

During Career Studio, students can come stay for as long as they can to work on their career research.

Eight undergraduate Career Guides have been selected to provide advising for Career Studio as well as to conduct career outreach with the coffee cart, another initiative previously funded by enterprise holdings. Prior to the academic year, Career Guides participated in training that included a customer service workshop by Amy Casari, Talent Acquisition Manager for Enterprise. Career Development is very appreciative of the support provided by Enterprise.
